Cranio Facial Deformity
In a typical face, the distance between the eyes ranges from 30 to 35 mm in children. Orbital hypertelorism, however, presents with an abnormally increased distance between the eyes, exceeding 35 mm. This condition, noticeable since birth, can cause the eyes to appear widely spaced, resulting in a broadened nose and displacement of facial structures. Surgical intervention involves reshaping skull bones to restore facial harmony, allowing for proper brain growth and normal appearance. By correcting this distance between the eyes, we aim to ensure a fulfilling life for the child, free from the challenges of craniofacial deformity.
